The environment includes all living and non-living things around us. It also includes the air we breathe, the water we drink and the people we interact to. Everyone talks about cultivating a good environment for you, being in good company to be motivated. But it is high time for us to take care of the environment as a whole and to protect the Earth.
The pollution levels in Delhi are at peak after Diwali and, year after year, it is worsening. Development of our city has taken a toll on the environment and it is our responsibility to work towards making this world a better place to live. Planting trees is the first step one should take. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and also trap dust and other toxins and give us a fresh air to breathe.
We, at Geetanjali Homestate, are also making efforts in this direction by starting a reforestation drive. We have planted hundreds of trees including mango saplings, medicated plants, air purifying plants and fruit saplings across Delhi NCR. Here is a sneak peek.
